Shark Fin Soup

I am very interested in sharks. I have been reading about shark fin soup. Shark  fin soup is  $70  dollars.   Shark  finning   is  in many   places in  Asia . Some people think the soup is nice but others think it is horrible.

Shark  fin fisherpeople do  not earn  much  money but  the  people  who  sell  it  are  rich.    

This     is   shark    fin   soup .      

Here  are  some  fins  drying  in   the  sun. Look how many there are.

To make the soup they use the first dorsal fin and sometimes the pectoral fin. They catch the shark and cut off its fins then they throw it back into the sea where it dies. Sometimes they use other parts of the shark too.

Sharks are endangered because of fishing. If sharks become extinct the oceans are in a lot of trouble. We need to save the sharks, not kill them!
